Account Manager/Inside Sales
Position Summary:
The Account Manager oversees BlueWare’s accounts and serves as the primary business contact for the client, responsible for client satisfaction. The AM is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to customers, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition, the AM will build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Understanding our products and services, and effectively communicating offerings to the client
• Strategically evaluating, managing, and prioritizing opportunities, needs and concerns with our customers
• Being aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business, involving the Managing Director and other Sales staff as appropriate
• Providing regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations
• Communicating the client’s goals and representing their interests to the team
• Reviewing all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met
• Ensuring that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met and that projects are profitable
• Working with accounts payable to ensure vendors providing training or raw materials that are necessary to ensure on-time delivery of our products and services are paid in a timely manner
• Following up to ensure on-time payment from customers per contract terms
• Promptly resolving conflict and escalating any unresolved issues/conflicts or those outside the AM’s measure of control to the Managing Director
• Interacting with all stakeholders; maintaining a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and /or opportunities within or related to the project
• Frequently visiting customers on-site
• Helping to develop and present proposals that clearly convey business needs, project approach, relevant experience and client benefits
• Achieving and sustaining 100% customer satisfaction with all respective customers
• Maintaining professional relationships that meet our core values
• Reporting to the Managing Director, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis
• Completing all internal certification requirements
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience as an account manager (aka relationship manager) or sales executive
• Project management and finance experience are a plus
• Track record of exceptional customer service experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate at a level of detail appropriate for the audience
• Great listening skills, with the ability to “read between the lines” to uncover and address genuine concerns or issues
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, strong work ethic and self-motivated
• Enthusiastic and driven to succeed
• Ability to work independently, but also successfully work on a team
• Detail oriented and sound independent judgment
